Maybe These Cards Are A Little Strong - Final Notice 0.3.6

Welcome or Welcome Back!

Y'know I wasn't thinking that Zero Balance or Fragment Loop would be THIS overpowered, but here we are. Just a quick one today, I'm currently a bit swept off my feet at my actual job, but I thought I should address this bit of player feedback sooner rather than later, so here I am!

Nerfs to Zero Balance and Fragment Loop

  • Zero Balance - The boss gains 5 mortis. Repeat this for each banished card this game, maximum of 5 -> 3 times.
  • Fragment Loop - If you've banished a card this turn, return the last two cards from your discard pile to your hand. If you do, banish this card.

Both of these cards were a liiiiiiiiiittle too strong in my opinion, as well as a few recent player's feedback (thank you!!) - Zero Balance did way too much damage for way too little work, Fragment Loop was just THE recursion card, it beat out basically all others, if you had two in hand you could pretty much just go infinite with any mortis gain card. Let me know if this feels any better (or too far in the other direction!)

New Preset Deck: Hand Hoarder!

WHAM outta nowhere, preset deck in a minor patch, don't tell me I never treat ya.

Hand Hoarder is built to be a deck that wants to use Odds-On Favourite and Sleight of Hand with a little bit of duplication from Carbon Copy to get the biggest hand possible and drop a Hoarder's Heft on the boss' noggin. Fun fact, cards that create cards do not care about hand limit size, so you can deal a lot of damage if you manage to recursively generate cards this way!

Quick tip - Quick Shuffle counts the number of cards in your hand and draws the same number, but because it DRAWS it WILL care about hand size, you can't draw past 6! Don't try to generate a 15 card hand and quick shuffle to draw 15!

Anywho, hope you're all enjoying the game, thank you for checking it out and THANK YOU AGAIN for the feedback, keep it coming.

Till next time!
